Crowborough and the surrounding Ashdown Forest villages are good scaffolding country — larger plots, generous access and plenty of substantial roofs that need proper access for re-roofing and solar.

Housing here is largely detached and semi-detached with big roof areas, dormers and complex hip and valley geometry. Those roofs need scaffolds designed around the shape rather than a straight run along one elevation, and they usually justify a loading bay.
