We build roofing scaffolds for domestic re-roofs, storm damage repairs, new-build roofs and heritage work across East Sussex and Kent.
Standard specification is a fully boarded working lift set roughly a course below the eaves, double guardrails, toe boards, brick guards where materials are stored, and debris netting or monoflex sheeting where neighbours or footpaths are close. Tile chutes and rubbish bins can be built in so waste never gets thrown from height.
We work on everything from terraced cottages in Hastings Old Town, where the wagon cannot get within fifty metres, to detached properties in Sevenoaks and Maidstone with room for a full independent scaffold and a loading bay. Tight access is normal for us, not an excuse for a surcharge.
Scaffolds are designed to TG20:21 compliant configurations or bespoke designed where the geometry demands it, erected by CISRS carded scaffolders, and inspected weekly while they stand. You get a scafftag, an inspection record and a handover so your roofer, your insurer and your building inspector are all satisfied.

How long does roofing scaffolding stay up?
As long as the roof job needs. Our fixed price normally covers up to six weeks on hire, with a modest weekly extension charge after that.
Do I need a licence for scaffolding over a pavement?
Yes, if any part of the scaffold sits on the public highway or footpath. We apply to the local highways authority on your behalf and build in lighting and pedestrian protection.
Can you fit a temporary roof?
Yes. For full strip-offs, listed buildings or winter work we can install a temporary roof so the property stays watertight throughout.
How much notice do you need?
Three to five working days is typical. Emergency and storm damage access is often possible sooner.
